I struggle hard with this sometimes, contests are the only thing that would enforce it for me, how do you guys do it?

It's a meaningless hobby, you shouldn't force yourself. If you don't feel like doing it anymore, stop.

if Contests work for you, maybe use https://clist.by/ to find more contests. Motivation to learn new Topics should then (hopefully) come itself, whenever you are frustrated by not being able to solve a certain problem.
