A specific character can not be rendered in Polygon's pdflatex

This character -> `〇' can not be rendered in Polygon's pdflatex, it even don't leave a blank.

Have you tried using \bigcirc inside TeX formula?

      There are probably no CJK fonts and LaTeX packages installed on Polygon.
