Does using macros help evade plagiarism check?

I have noticed so many cheaters using weird macros that doesnt make any sense to make their code look different. Does it help evade plag check? Dont plagiarism check produce raw code without macros before checking for similarity?

    i am gonna check to expose the weakness of the plag check not to cheat. ill probably just do one question and make blog about how stupid plag check is.

      you got downvoted because morons on codeforces downvote anything if you are below 1600, not because of what you said. A red coder could have said the same thing with +10.
