Hey everyone,

I think most of us would agree—10 contests a month on Codeforces just isn’t enough. Competitive programming is all about consistency, and having more contests would give us more opportunities to improve, test our skills, and stay engaged with the platform.

Right now, if someone misses a couple of contests due to exams or other commitments, they have to wait days for the next one. This slows down improvement and makes it harder to stay in the rhythm of regular contests.

Wouldn’t it be great if we had more Div. 2 and Div. 3 rounds, maybe even some short-format rated contests? It could help keep the community more active and allow everyone to compete more frequently.

Of course, I know setting up contests isn’t easy, and I really appreciate the work Mike and the problem setters do. But if there’s a way to slightly increase the contest frequency, I think it would benefit the entire community.

What do you all think? Would you like to see more contests on Codeforces? Let’s discuss!

You can participate virtually or find some contests in the gym. Other platforms exist too.

Rating does not change in virtual or gym contests. Other platforms are okay, but CF rated contest is something else.

I completely agree with You, contests helps a lot if someone has got negative delta then they have to wait a lot for Next contests to Improve their Rating

Sounds good, doesn't work.

Just do virtual contest. Or go to other judges.

There are not even 10 content in a month about 5-7 in a month this is all due to AI, Number of contest has been drastically reduced.

Yeah, that's too much. Three days per contest is fine, but cramming 2-3 contests into every 3 days would be insane. Also, how is Mike supposed to pay? A Div2 contest costs $450—damn. You may just give contests on other OJs for the 2 contests per 3 days.. ig that will be great. codeForces, CodeChef, atcoder and more.

Maybe it's better to hold the contests at diffrent times of a day.
