Sometimes I want to rate a post by clicking the upvote / downvote button. And sometimes, especially when on my cellphone, I misclick and it registers the other one. Why oh why is there absolutely no way of undoing a misclick? This could be done either by clicking the same button again (returning the post to the state where you didn't vote), or by clicking the opposite button (switching your vote to the opposite one).
I think admins are afraid of losing their upvotes when people get angry. So, they won't put an option for "undo voting" system.
Well, if there is a similar reason, it's really easy to fix: just make it so that any vote older than $something cannot be changed any more.
"A few days" sounds like a reasonable $something. Even $something == "five minutes" would be better than nothing.
you find it easy as you are clever, but admins are not, that's why they won't do that :)
well that's not true
do you have doubt with misof's smartness?
do you have doubt with Mike's smartness?
yes I doubt, the idea misof posted is very common on every website. How could Mike miss its importance?
Not implementing "undoing" has nothing to do with smartness.
simply admit that, you neither need this feature nor care this blog.
No, such feature would be great. It would add some dynamic nature to discussions going on in Codeforces.
The problem is actually more fundamental — why on earth does a self-respecting website not have a
decentany mobile version? Bootstrap it out man.Yes you are true
Did you just call a living breathing human as a particular value of a human defined construct to illustrate binary contrasting outcomes?
The post is 4 years old...

Sorry guys I just commented for the first time and had no idea about it earlier. I just made a comment to check its working. I hope you get that and sorry for the inconvenience caused and your kind words on my comments gupta_samarth.
?
No, the mobile version is just fine. It is not worth investing time in anyway, because I guess most people only write light texts and read blogs using the mobile version: for this, it is good enough.
I guess since this is back, bump.
It's been four years, still no option to change votes.
or a decent mobile version
What is wrong with the current mobile version?
nothing
It has issues when zooming in, often just trying to move the view around will trigger the side-bars to jump in and smother everything.
To add to this, I may also want to downvote a bad comment, but if someone edits it, change my downvote to an upvote.
