How many hours do top coders like high reds sleep? I think amount of my hard work is limited to my sleep as I have to sleep 8 hrs atleast.

Every person has a different amount of need for sleep but whatever your needed amount is you should try to sleep at least that much otherwise performance suffers. Mayb your qouta is 8 hours.

Most of those people are/were pretty old: as you age you need less sleep. 3 hours to Trump isn't really the same as 3 hours to me.
Petr's TopCoder interview is a really good read (see the Having Fun section). If your training is limited by number of waking hours, it is a matter of time before it is limited by burnout as well. Take care of yourself, your brain needs time to fully absorb new concepts!
