Firefox crashes after opening CF

Hello Codeforces Community,

Lately I'm experiencing this weird problem on Firefox. Whenever I try to open the CF on my Firefox it either crashes completely or says "Gah! Your tab just crashed". It doesn't happen at all with other sites but CF.

So I want ask if anyone is experiencing the same problem as me? If yes, how did you resolve it?

My system is Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

UPD: It worked after switching to safe mode and then back to normal mode. I don't know what kind of behavior is that but it worked anyway. Still I would like to know what might be the reason from someone expert in this field. Thanks everyone for your responses.

    Yeah, doing it right now. But wanted to know in general. BTW I'm used to Firefox that's why.

I'm on Kubuntu. Everything is okay. I think you should try to reinstall it.

I suppose you should try to start firefox in safe mode and open CF there.

$ firefox -safe-mode

Also this somewhat recent bug report mentions codeforces. Maybe you should take a look.

    It wasn't working earlier but then I switched to safe mode and again to normal mode and it worked. Thanks
