Peculiar phenomenon of substantial improvements of members after joining William Lin Fan Club

Shortly after William Lin Fan Club was founded ( https://codeforces.net/ratings/organization/20327 ), substantial improvements of mutiple members of the clubs have been noticed

  • dorijanlendvaj, getting +198 by plaincg 4th in Codeforces Round #594 (Div. 1)

  • gamegame, getting +152 by placing 6th in Codeforces Round #586 (Div. 1 + Div. 2)

  • nikolapesic2802, getting 2 consecutive +101 by placing 44th in Codeforces Round #588 (Div. 1) and 45th Codeforces Global Round 5

  • fivedemands, getting +162 by placing 17th in Codeforces Global Round 5

I wonder what might be the possible reasons of this phenomenon. What do you think?

Seems like the next biggest sensation for boosting ratings after Twice.

This blog is full of BS. Many of the members in this so-called "Fan Club" have also dropped in rating from Codeforces Round #594 (Div. 1).

There could list out many more examples, the four examples above are from one contest alone.

Not to mention, fivedemands is an alt of a high-rated (2750+) CodeForces member, so getting a high positive rating change is expected.

Can confirm: the 2 contests I took immediately after joining were like this:

I attribute all the success to joining the club.

Well, I also improved when I joined a fan club, but it's Ildar Gainullin fun-club:

+144 by placing 32nd in Codeforces Round #588 (Div. 1). 300iq orz.

Also ismagilov.code gained +84 taking place 71 in Codeforces Global Round 5, but it seems that he's in the fun-club for some time, so the effect is not that explicit.
