Today, although it is something insignificant, I finally got back to pupil.
It's been exactly a year now from the time that I was introduced to CP and it has definitely been a roller-coaster of emotions. I started CP on codeforces, quickly losing rating, falling down to the despised gray area on the bottom of the rating chart. I think that was one of the things that made me leave CP for a very long period of time. I remember being frustrated that I couldn't solve a D2A or a D3A even, looking at the editorials after the contest and thinking to myself that I was so dumb to not be able to solve a problem that trivial.
But I came back to CP starting with USACO, and I think that really inspired me to start practicing more. I found more fun in CP as I got better and better and I recently started practicing more codeforces problems which probably attributed for my rise to Pupil. Although a small one, this jump has showed that I can do it with practice and the time I put in payed off. Although it may seem an easy accomplishment to some, achieving this goal has really boosted my self-confidence and I'm happy I could get here. Hopefully I'll write another blog post when I reach Candidate Master and my name changes to a distinct color in the spectrum of CF rankings :).
stfu and practice.
Thanks for the positive and constructive feedback! I really appreciate it. I'll keep your suggestion in mind, thanks so much.

For the fuck sake you don't even practice regularly and trying to demotivate who are practicing genuinely. This comment is to chandler

ZEPHYR I LOVE YOU KEEP GOING <3
It took me one year to become pupil.I still can remember how much glad I was on that time. And Best wishes for you.
Interestingly, your hard work was able to inspire me into practicing more. The sheer amount of improvement you had shown in USACO made me realize that I was not pushing my self to the limit when practicing. Good luck in your future contests!
Thank you so much! You helped me a lot whenever I had questions even if they were dumb so I couldn’t have done it without you. Maybe we can both make platinum together this season :P.
A very glad feeling! All the best buddy. Can you give advice to me how can i improve?
Thank you! Also what I would say is that what I found helpful for getting from newbie to pupil is practicing problems rated 1300 and below. Solving A and B in a D2 contest is more than enough to get positive rating while in gray so if you work on just practicing past A and B problems it will help you out a lot. Most of these problems are also either math problems involving simple concepts like parity (even vs odd cases), or brute force (look at the restrictions to see if they're low enough), or straightforward implementation. So if you practice more of these questions and work on implementing faster I think you can definitely reach pupil! Good luck!
