Third stream live, solving Codechef problems https://www.twitch.tv/pmavrin
(but if you're beginner, better go watch pashka now https://www.twitch.tv/pmavrin)
Here's my short opinion. Codechef problem quality is a bit worse than Codeforces but it's worth participating. Below is some negative critique.
I went through August Cook-off and Lunchtime. Problems lack sample explanation and sometimes drawings. One hard problem had a very standard solution and organizers missed it. This would be avoided with any strong setter or tester. And lunchtime is very bad for IOI preparation, it doesn't focus on subtasks at all. They should decrease the number of problems and at least try to think about some subtasks. I sometimes could think of some solution and there was no subtask for it.
As the guy who edits statements, I can tell you that sample explanations are the hardest to edit because they often don't explain anything (edit becomes replace by something relevant) LUL. Drawings are usually good when they exist, but not everyone can make them.
Monday stream is live for some time already. I'm going to now do a recent Atcoder Beginner Contest (ABC) https://www.twitch.tv/errichto
