I use the extension dark reader for chrome to view codeforces on dark mode . I use this because using codeforces on light mode really strain my eyes. Now after addition of this snow theme I am finding it difficult to read the problem statements. If there is any way to turn it off please let me know.

The background is a repeated version of this image, so you should be able to just use the extension code above, replacing the "background" line with this. Alternatively if you don't want to depend on Codeforces serving the image, you can replace it with this instead.

This should work but I haven't tried it, so no guarantees.

Go to more options in dark reader and select filter+ instead of dynamic and also enable only for current site options.

You can use the Filter+ option from "More" settings of dark reader to reduce it a little: https://imgur.com/a/fNM1og9
