Well there are 4 contests before Global round : 2 in Atcoder, 2 in Codechef. Give those

    codechef has low quality problems -__- and there a lot of cheaters in it.

      Compared to Codeforces, the easiest problems from AtCoder and Codechef contests are more approachable by beginners. And you are less likely to end up with 0 solved problems there. The suggestion to check these other platforms is very reasonable.

        In terms of at least easier problems, Codeforces has programming puzzles and other platforms have programming exercises.

I mean you could upsolve and do virtual participation for past contests. You might say real contests feel different from virtual participation, but doing this really helps you improve in terms of your mindset, speed, debugging and etc.
