For a while now, I've been feeling stuck with my skills, so I must force myself to improve or die trying.

I commit to doing what the top-voted comment says if I don't reach red within 8 months. (Excluding things beyond my purchasing power)

If someone wants to help me with this, they're welcome (I'd be the first red in my country). Anyway, this will be tough, and I don't feel capable of achieving it.

(Instead of words of encouragement, I'd prefer you to share your best memes)

Our country just started in the world of informatics Olympiads. We participated in the IOI this year for the first time, and we have been invited to compete in this year's EGOI (European Girls Olympiads in Informatics), which will take place in Antalya, Turkey. Unfortunately, the Peruvian government does not support us, nor even did they support the Peruvian team for the IOI. Funding for IOI travel was raised through local private companies and individual donations. However, there are no funds to purchase the flight tickets for the Peruvian EGOI team so we've set up this campaign with a goal of $4,000. I have been training these girls for quite a few months, and they are really talented. I hope that in the coming years they will also represent us in the IOI.

With your help, these talented young girls will achieve their dream and make our country proud. Please, make a donation online by clicking on the following link. Any contribution will be thankfully received.

Thank you for your attention.

Peru has participated in the IOI for the first time and has won a bronze medal. (orz NRolly)

I am the coach of the whole team and we will probably qualify again next year. Our goal now is to get a silver medal in the future. That's why I would like to know how is the training in other countries. How many hours do you dedicate to training? How many contests do you simulate per week? Do they enter codeforces, codechef, atcoder?

Clearly getting a silver medal is not easy but we want to try.

We will be grateful for your support. Best regards

Sorry if my question is unnecessary. Is there a mirror or live scoreboard of day 1 of the IOI? I couldn't find.

Kind regards.

My country (Peru) will participate for the first time in the IOI this year, and I am training schoolchildren with high chances of qualifying for the Olympiad.

Clearly there is a gap between the national Olympics at the Latin American level and the IOI. What I have done so far is choose Olympics problems such as the JOI, CCC, BOI, etc. and solve them in class as well as teaching algorithms from the IOI syllabus.

I don't have much experience (and I'm not a grandmaster) so I would like some advice on how they train in other countries or what I should do with my students.

Hi! Has anyone in the community thought about writing a comic about competitive programming? (or anime, but I know it is much more difficult) I ask why I think that several of us like anime-manga-comic and we could create a series of cartoons that tell some funny or tragic stories that deal with this world (I think we all love competitive programming). Sorry for my bad English
