Context: A few years ago, MOI (Moroccan Olympiad in Informatics) organized a contest with cash prizes which anyone can join. The contest received much more exposure than the regular ones and was talked about in multiple Facebook pages, which made the news available to not very tech-savvy people. One of whom made this comment: (not his actual words since I had to translate)"The prizes are just a pretext to lure people so they solve the problems you need to solve but couldn't". Which is fucking hilarious, so hilarious in fact that one of the problems in said contest was named after this commenter and was about conspiracies.
Have you ever encountered a similar situation where someone spoke about something they knew nothing about and it ended up being funny?
