About Teams Participating in Online Mirrors of ICPC-Style contests

Revision en2, by GroupMatrix, 2024-11-13 10:16:21

It is well known that in onsite ICPC contests, the team members have to share one computer. However, I've been always confused that whether it is also true for Codeforces online mirrors of ICPC-style contests. I have chosen two of the ICPC-ruled contests on Codeforces.

COMPFEST 15 — Preliminary Online Mirror: As mentioned in this comment, all teammates are allowed to use their three different computers at the same time.

Online mirror of The 2023 ICPC Asia Jakarta Regional Contest: As mentioned in the announcement, it is encouraged to participate as a team using only one computer for coding.

Since currently there is no annoucement for the coming online mirror of 2024-2025 ICPC, NERC, Southern and Volga Russian Regional Contest, I sincerely ask here: is it allowed for each team member to use their own computers, or they have to use only one computer for coding?

Thanks in advance.
