Why most of IIT Toppers (top 100) ,IIT-B, IIT-D CSE students do not participate in Competitive coding regularly . Are they taught something different than us lower level college students. If so ,what syllabus do they follow ?

Or They mostly remain engage in industry level experience , as i have a friend who got internship in his second year in one of the biggest MNC .

Anybody Knows what they do ??
