Don't you all think now-a-days there are a lot of ac in div 2? Wasn't there a time that solving 2 qns in div 2 was considered a lot? These days more than 7k people are solving C. Is there anything happening?

Aside from all the cheats, I don't think the ratio of solves to participants didn't change that drastically. We are getting much more participants than ever before nowadays, and ~5000 solves are still approximately 1/3 of solves on A. 7k solves are mostly due to being a Div. 1 + 2 round or longer contest time with more problems than usual. There are exceptions, of course, but these have always existed, and there are many counterexamples: https://codeforces.net/contest/1981/standings https://codeforces.net/contest/1973/standings https://codeforces.net/contest/1957/standings etc.
