This is the only way to normalise the rating scale. People using AI can even become masters now. This also takes away the advantage most cheaters have. So it will finally come down to which human can use AI for the best results and ratings will still mean something. Thank you.

It takes away the advantage of cheaters... but it also takes away the fun? Is that really to be called a profit?
There is no fun in getting negative delta every single time because sometimes even newbies can solve div2 c and above. Its the only way forward if you want ratings to have any meaning.
Obviously there are other ways out? For example, why not improve the methods in detecting AI usage. This has been the case of chess, why wouldn't we choose to do it again? What fun do you think is left in chess when every contest allows using AI? Clearly in every contest we will simply see Stockfish vs Stockfish?

There is absolutely no way to detect AI use in cp like chess. LLMs can be easily used to get the idea behind the solution and the cheater can just the implement the idea fast, which is still cheating.
So you want to rationalize Div.2 contests being a contest of "Who can automate solving ABCDE by o3-mini and then snipe F the fastest"? Clearly noone thinks that is fun?
Yep I agree. The day AI is allowed in this sport that will be my last day here without a second thought. Even the cheaters will get frustated and complain after a while to stop it as most of them wont be able to afford premium packs :)
1000s already use AI without ever getting penalised I can give you examples if you want.
I think you are replying to the wrong person here. Anyway thats what he is telling to make the AI detection strong and penalize the cheaters. I think soon mike will come to his senses and start taking it seriously.
Dude its impossible to detect AI use. Are you unable to understand basic english? Online cp is done. You might take some time to accept it but its a fact.
Obviously Mike knows better than you even in such fields. Probably Mike has better ideas than you do. Why not find yourself a more constructive thing to do?
My eng is good enough bro. You are the one not getting my point. There are many certified cheaters who are pointed out in the past and no actions are not taken against them. That's why I am saying mike should take this thing seriously and ban at least the cheaters who are indeed guilty of it. This is the least he can do. I think after elaboration you can understand what i am trying to say.

Strongly agree. I know someone who struggles to solve div 2 B a got global rank around 200 in the last div 2 due to GPT killing both c and d in just a few seconds.
Perhaps obsessing over cheating is a hopeless cause, and you should just focus on improving yourself. It is irritating to see undeserving people ahead of you in the rankings, yes, but the model is free, so what can you do? Also there seems to be a strong correlation between low ratings and constantly complaining about cheating, just a hint.
This is my alt. I am CM on my main. I just got negetive delta due to low IQ losers submitting ABD within first 30 minutes. Yes I am pissed. And btw looks like u have used gpt in the last contest mate. D in 15 minutes. lol.
Very convincing, seeing as you can barely do AB on this account. D was trivial if you know anything about Djikstra. It could literally be a CSES problem.
