Too much delay before next codeforces round

According to the contest schedule the next round is going to be held on 26th October.And the previous one was held on 15th October.I don't understand why there's too much gap between this two rounds.ICPC regional is very close.So i think that would be really helpful for all the contestants if we can participate in more and more contests.

Just for perspective: Somebody is giving you something for free. How do you react? By complaining that they should give you more :)

As for practice for ICPC regionals, team contests are better than individual CF rounds anyway, and there's plenty of those this season. Look at all the subregionals in various parts of Europe, for instance.

Examples: There was http://codeforces.net/blog/entry/20989 and http://codeforces.net/blog/entry/20765 (both available here for virtual participation), there will be http://codeforces.net/blog/entry/20970 and many others.

    I'm really sorry sir,i didn't mean to hurt.And i'm also not complaining actually.I thougt it would be helpful if there's at least 1 contest in each week.Of course codeforces is the best environment for programming contests and they deserve all the credits :)

    As i'm almost a beginner i don't have much idea/experience about how to utilize the next few days properly before the ICPC.Thank you so much for the links.I missed two of them,my bad!!!But i'll check them now!

But why always Monday? Round #325 was on Monday(daytime) and I had to take a sick leave for participating. Monday is a workday(in most countries), it's really bad for contests.

    Sorry, we actually wanted to set it on Sunday, but I miscalculated the date :( It is also binded to some onsite competition, that's why it starts in unusual time.

    (I'm one of the organisers of the onsite competition, that's why I'm still partially in charge of the ongoing round)
