CP gives me both happiness and stress. So I am interested in knowing what people in this community do when they are in anxiety or down in life or when they have tried hard to solve a problem, but never succeeded. Should I make friends to do CP or solving problems alone is enough?
Personally, I like to play blitz chess or listen to music. It heals me ^_^
Blitz chess relaxes you? What the hell??
Calm down haha. Maybe she's trying to redirect her pain and anger into Chess. I play FPS games usually when I am down. It gives me motivation to kill people virtually everytime I feel lost in life :P
You are right — I just suck at chess so it makes me feel even worse
what's your ELO rating in chess by the way?
On chess.com around 700
wow, I thought most CP guys hold a high rating on chess.com. Mine is 1700 by the way ^_~
Congrats that's quite impressive. I'm actually decent at puzzles but I never really understood how to play chess
Happens to me all the time. most of the time what really sucks is that, I tried a problem with my idea and it is not working as it was supposed to be and all the solutions that are present have totally different ideas. And you are stuck with no, and thinking more and more about it but couldn't find anything.
But recently I find the Errichto discord channel where you can ask up your question, sometimes people do answer their and its awesome.
Another idea, where you get stuck on hard problem and not able to solve it and the editorial goes over your head. At that times I usually leave the question and mark it as favourite and getback to it after a week, and try to solve it again. It may take up 2-3 weeks but you will eventually at least understand the solution and the concept behind it.
Hey! could you please share the discord server link of Errichto to me?, I needs it. (*_*)
you can go to any errichto's vid, there you will find it in the description
