If you think those are outliers that come from a few very good schools, today contest (which was the memorable contest #1000) was a div. 2 contest and had at least 35 Chinese people in the top 100 of the official standings, strongly suggesting that the Chinese domination on codeforces is not simply due to some outliers.
• DeepSeeking R1 showing that China is in the forefront of AI, competing directly with ClosedAI and in front of Big Tech Companies like Meta and Google.
• World largest semiconductor manufacturer in Taiwan.

I have a strongly feeling that Silicon Valley technology domination is coming to an end and moving to China. Notice I am not even considering people of Chinese ascent who are American.

What do you guys think about this? Why is China so successful at programming compared to rest of the world?
