Romanian team:

attempts are measured in possible future IOI participations, as much as measuring BOI participations is hard because of its unncertainty to be held :P

Trying to grow without remorse is like attempting to sail a ship without wind; you may move, but you will never truly change course.

I mean yeah what he did was shameful and more serious action should have been taken but come on, this is an onsite contest, plus he competed fairly in the past at many other onsite contests where more strict proctoring is being conducted.

First of all, I lack information about all the previous onsite contests he has taken part in. Hence, I cannot comment on the strictness of those contests or whether he competed fairly or not. However, it is fairly easy to cheat if one puts their mind to it, and people have cheated in the past, even in the most prestigious olympiads such as IMO and IOI. Try to imagine how many may have cheated and gone unnoticed.

Secondly, he neither apologized for cheating nor defended himself. I don't see any reason for someone not to repeat their mistake if they feel no guilt about it. Especially if they know they can get away with it.

Although you've said all that, it is clear you can comment on whether he competed/will compete fairly or not, as you are inherently doing by opening this poll (and defending your stance that he will cheat because there is something inherently wrong with him).

But ok, duly noted. Then, if we are to start commenting about such things, you wanna know what I believe? I believe that you're way out of your depth in this matter. So the next time you post a comment here and tell us what TimDee is doing wrong, you are welcome to keep it to yourself. Because no one cares.
